The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), a statutory body established under an Act of the Indian Parliament in 1949, is organizing the World Forum of Accountants (WOFA 2.0) from 30 January to 1 February 2026 at the India Expo Centre & Mart, Greater Noida, India.
Following the success of the inaugural World Forum of Accountants, WOFA 2.0 promises to be an expanded and elevated global event, bringing together accounting and finance professionals, policymakers, regulators, industry leaders, innovators, and thought leaders from around the world. The event is expected to attract approximately 25,000 delegates worldwide.
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) is the world’s largest accounting body with over 450,000 members and 1 million students. It operates through 5 Regional Councils, 183 Branches in India, and 54 Chapters & 31 Representative Offices abroad across 47 countries. ICAI maintains qualification reciprocity with 8 international accounting bodies and collaborative agreements with 16 others.
