Publication of Appeal for contribution to Armed Forces Flag Day Fund on Embassy website

APPEAL

Kendriya Sainik Board (KSB), New Delhi is the apex body of Ministry of Defence, Government of India that is responsible for implementation of Government policies and schemes pertaining to the welfare of Ex-Servicemen of the Indian Defence Forces (ESM) and their families. The Board has Hon'ble Raksha Mantri as its President and other members include Chief Minister of States/UTs, three Service Chiefs and other dignitaries. Secretary KSB heads the Secretariat of the Board and manages the Armed Forces Flag Day Fund (AFFDF). These funds are utilized to run a large number of welfare schemes for Ex-Servicemen (ESM) martyrs, widows, as well as their dependents. The list of schemes under implementation by the KSB can be seen on the website: hppt://www.ksb.gov.in.

2) The KSB is grateful for the positive response and contributions made generously for this noble cause in the past. On behalf of the KSB, this Embassy appeals the NRIs, PIOs, Embassy officials and friends of India residing in Mali/Mauritania to make generous contributions to AFFDF in recognition of the valuable sacrifices made by the veterans of the Indian Defence Forces.

3) Contributions to AFFDF can be made using any of the following 4 means:-

a) By cheque / demand draft drawn in favor of "Armed Forces Flag Day Fund", that may be despatch directly to Secretary, Kendriya Sainik Board, West Block-IV, R. K. Puram, New Delhi-110066.

b) Online through RTGS/NEFT. Bank details are as under -
