Embassy in collaboration with Chemexcil & the Chamber of Commerce & Industry of Mali organized a virtual Buyer Seller Meet on 8 April 2026. Indian & Malian enterprises had a fruitful exchange on strengthening cooperation in the agrochemical, dyestuff & cosmetics sectors.

Ambassador Dr. N. Nandakumar called on H.E. Mr. Alousséni Sanou, Minister of State, Minister of Economy and Finance of Mali on 10 April 2026. India’s longstanding development partnership with Mali, cooperation in capacity building, and avenues for further deepening friendly ties between India and Mali were discussed
Embassy celebrated Ambedkar Jayanti, ICCR Day and Tamil New Year on 19 April 2026. Children of the Indian community and members of AAMI Association presented colourful cultural performances. A special screening of Malian movie FURU was also held on the occasion
Embassy organized a Chess Competition to celebrate the ICCR Day and Tamil New Year on 18 April 2026. Both Indian and Malian children across age groups participated enthusiastically. Winners were felicitated by Ambassador Dr. N. Nandakumar with prizes and certificates.
1st Study in India Fair held in Bamako at Hotel Azalai Salam. Ambassador Dr. N. Nandakumar inaugurated the fair and spoke about the attractive opportunities provided by India in higher education. The fair witnessed enthusiastic participation from Malian students
On 31 March, Embassy donated a collection of books on India to the prestigious ABB-Peacekeeping School, Bamako. Ambassador Dr. N. Nandakumar handed over the books to Col. Souleymane Sangare, Director of the School in a solemn ceremony.
Embassy hosted an Iftar on March 17. H.E. Mr Mahamadou Diarra, Sec. Gen., Ministry of Culture, dignitaries from the Govt. of members of CNT, business leaders, and civil society of Mali graced the occasion.
Ambassador Dr. N. Nandakumar called on H.E. Mr. Abdoulaye Diop, Minister of Foreign Affairs & International Cooperation of Mali. Ambassador conveyed India's desire to deepen its relations with Mali . They discussed different aspects of the bilateral relations with a view to further strengthen the friendly ties.

India participated in the 1st edition of National Day of Exports of Mali as a guest country. Posters on India-Mali political, commercial, cultural relns., devp. partnership and products representing India-Mali trade basket were on display.
