Feedback on draft Overseas Mobility (Facilitation & Welfare) Bill, 2025

The Government of India proposes to replace the existing Emigration Act, 1983, with an Overseas Mobility (Facilitation & Welfare), Bill 2025 providing for comprehensive management, and safe and orderly immigration of Indian nationals seeking employment opportunities abroad.

The text of Overseas Mobility (Facilitation & Welfare) Bill 2025 is available at https://mea.gov.in/overseasmobilitybill2025.htm for public feedback. Indian Nationals based in Mali are requested to refer to draft  Overseas Mobility (Facilitation & Welfare) Bill 2025 and communicate suggestions/feedback (if any) to the Embassy at cons.bamako@mea.gov.in latest by 4th November 2025.
